……and The Story Continues!!
It’s been a month since I’ve blogged because as usual, there was nothing interesting to write about. The year started very well, when I was in vacation at Hogenakkal Falls and Yercaud. Me and my family had a great time in the tour especially myself, who had been depressed a lot in the previous month. Anyways, moving with a very strong positive attitude this year – I really enjoy each and every day for this year till now. Nevertheless being unemployed, I am confident that there is a future out there for me too. Instead of whining for something which I don’t have, I feel happiness in every thing I do especially when having fun with friends. Just like a novel, we do have sad and pleasant parts in our story but I hope all our stories will have a happy ending. There has been a lot of surprises (starting with the ATV ride in Yercaud) for me from the moment I had stopped expecting things and they tend to increase day by day as the pages of my life turn by themselves.
That’s enough yada yada, its February 3rd 2012, the first post of this year. We had just finished our first review and I’m very much satisfied with what I had to present about my project. Although I feel a lot guilty for not able to contribute much to my project because of the lack of an Android device which plays a key role in our project, I have a strong hope that I can lead/follow my team to one of the best in the class.
Today was really an odd day. I woke up very early at about 4AM and started getting ready for moving to the college. Having sent my early morning tweet (SMS) to some of my friends, I finished my breakfast and moved to catch the transit bus. It was very strange that I had not received any text messages from anyone on my phone but it was functioning properly so I did not pay much attention to it. I boarded the usual transit bus number ’101′ and I was half way towards the college. But unfortunately, our bus got punctured on its rear tyres and had to be halted in the middle of the highway. Auspiciously, we got a ride from our own college bus for free and reached our campus.
Today, one of the leading IT companies in India ‘Ramco Systems’ had visited our campus to engage us in several projects. After a brief lecture in the field of Cloud Computing by one of the dignitaries of the company, I am now much more confident to create apps based on the cloud. Although many of my classmates hated the lecture, I really loved it and I’m glad I could be a part of it. After the conference ended, we dispersed and started to leave the college. Me and Arumugam started walking on the street towards the highway but luckily, we had obtained a lift just after 5 mins of leaving our campus. It was a very highly classed Toyota Innova with sophisticated technology hidden inside almost everywhere in the car. The car had a fairly large SRS Airbags, Premium wood on the stereo systems and on the door handles, BOSE speakers and a very pleasant air conditioning system. The person driving the car inquired about us a lot on the way and we both were surprised at each other since he happened to be a graduate from TNAU where my dad is working. Maybe that created a good relationship between us and he gave us a very long ride. After getting down at Kovai Pudhur, I took a snap shot of his car which you can see below :
Then I had to get another bus to reach Gandhipuram, when suddenly a hell lot of messages suddenly started rushing to my phone. Well, that explained why I was not receiving any messages from morning. Due to some kind of network problem, I received all the messages sent by everyone in the morning at once and I had to apologize to all of them as I was unable to reply earlier. Few minutes later, I took out my headphones from my backpack and realized that it was broken into half
. I fixed it temporarily using my fingers and managed to listen to music till I reached home. And that was it. The day was over. Wooooffff….
