The Automaton : A Parithi Bytes Software/Game

Its December 27th 2010, we were spending the last Monday of this year inside the lab, the whole day. We didn’t have much to do today, so most of us were just exploring the software installed in the computers. I was playing with Visual Basic by arranging some command buttons here and there and quick caught up with a creative idea of a simple “Hit-It-When-You-See-It” Game. After an hour, I got everything finished and gave it to my friend and my neighbor in Lab, Deenuji . He took the task of testing the software and I was quite amazed how he found certain bugs so quickly which I was not expecting while I was creating it. Having understood the importance of Software Testing, I moved on with the development and removed many bugs in the next hour. He was not able to cheat the game after it was fully finished, and therefore we had finally created a fully functional simple clicking game known as “The Automaton”. The name of the software doesn’t relate to it much but we just kept it, since it was generating strings at the end of the game. This is the first product of Parithi Bytes Software and its available for download.

You can download the Game/Software from here.

If you find any bugs, have suggestions, need the source code or having problems downloading the file, please comment below and I’ll be back with you as soon as I can. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
