Privacy Policy

Effective November 1, 2026

This policy covers the website parithi.me and the Parithi.me Android app (com.parithi.parithime), both run by ElamParithi Arul (Parithi Network). The short version: there are no accounts, no ads and no tracking, and nothing you do is collected about you.

What the Parithi.me app collects

Nothing that identifies you. The app has no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking SDKs.

To work, the app makes ordinary web requests to:

  • parithi.me, to download the list of blog posts and their images.
  • YouTube (youtube.com, ytimg.com), to show the latest public videos and thumbnails from Parithi’s channels.

Like any web request, these servers see your device’s IP address and the app’s name and version. That is used only to deliver the content and is not combined with anything else. YouTube’s handling of requests is covered by Google’s Privacy Policy.

What stays on your device

  • Saved posts, reading text size and your notification choice are stored only on your device. If you use Android backup, they are included in your own Google backup so they come back on a new phone.
  • A copy of the posts and videos is cached so the app works offline. Clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling it removes everything.

Notifications

New-post notifications are off by default. If you turn them on, the app checks parithi.me a few times a day for a new post. No account or push service is involved, and you can turn it off at any time in the app or in Android settings.

Links to YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads, GitHub, the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store open in those apps or in your browser, where their own privacy policies apply.

The website

parithi.me is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Cloudflare processes requests (including IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site, as described in Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Children

The app and website are general-audience and do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
