Back To College!

It’s been a long while since I posted something on my blog and here comes something that I can write about! It’s June 8th, 2011 and its been a week since my college started after the long holiday of about 2 months. Although I had a lot of fun by playing a hell lot of games, went to BSNL implant traning, released ReviewBox, and watched some blockbuster Hollywood movies in 3D, got a new MacBook Pro, roaming the streets of Coimbatore, taking a trip to Pondicherry, celebrated birthday with some surprizes, became a Tester of Google+, Overall the Holiday was — Boring! Yep, sounds funny but that’s the truth. And it was not only the case with me, but also with many of my friends at college like Lilly Deepika. Apart from the interesting things, during the leisure time I was sitting ducks when the time was trying to kill me. Thank fully, Prince tried to save almost all the days by texting regularly and filling up my inbox. Besides that, I also spent a lot of time in working with the ReviewBox, A Facebook App designed to change the way how people get reviews from friends, with Ganesh Ponraju. My usual sleeping time rounded the clock to about 2am every-night and I was waking up in the morning at about 9–10 am when the gleaming sun pushed me from my bed with its dazzling rays glaring my eyes from the window. Finally, the holiday came to an end as I finished it off by seeing Transformers 3 and installed Android on my PC, and started getting ready for college.

On July 4th, the Day of American Independence, our College started. We were hearing a lot of rumors during the holidays and most of them came true on the first day itself. Our curriculum was designed by the Anna University Chennai, thereby relieving us from pain of writing hell of assignments and records. Like the Americans got freedom from the British, we got freedom from the Assignments. The first day went very well and it was more than what I had expected on the first day, our class was shifted to the top floor, there was a change in the minds of many staff, my friends Panneer, Arumugam, Kirthika became the Student council members. Adding to that, Panneer is also the Class Representative and the Treasurer of the Whole College. We also had an election to select the president for the Computer Science Department which was later won by Sadam Hussain. Another good thing was, we didn’t have to sit in the attendance order which was one of the rumors spreading during the holiday.

One of the bad things is that, I still do not have any company to talk with while I’m waiting for the bus every evening college gets over, which brings some of the worst minutes of my life! And there is a big hurry-burry in selection of the members for the project we have to do in this final year. Lots of confusions are going on with no motive in mind and things started getting crazy in college as it has always been. Let’s see how things turn out in near future…

Side Note: I’m still waiting (4 months) for Apple’s upcoming operating system Mac OS X Lion, which is tearing me apart! ;(
