Days after my birthday…

A week after my birthday, almost everything had subsided in my office but May was still May and I’m still in love with it. Although I miss the wonderful climate that Coimbatore will be enjoying, the hot and burning temperatures of Chennai doesn’t bother me much. Ishwarya, Abi and the boys always quench themselves with fruit juices every afternoon to beat the heat that the sun had been scorching us lately. Well, me? I simply wave hands and get back to my seat as soon as possible to get some AC (and of course, the AC won’t very comfy either). As me and my mom are always allergic to food that contain too much heat, I try to avoid such foods and stay healthy as possible. But this friday, I did that mistake.

As I was kind of low on money, I preferred to drink the low cost juices and milkshakes, eventually buying the legitimately stupidest drink I’ve ever tasted, ‘The Cavin’s ButterScotch Milkshake’. Finishing the whole packet bottom’s up, and even adding some Limca to it, I already got the instant feeling that I’m gonna be running into safe mode the very next day. And as expected, my throat started paining the next morning, I fainted in the bathroom and I was telling Abi that I wont be able to be okay that day.

Adding more misery to my tale, I ordered the tamarind rice for lunch because of the no-money-in-the-pocket scenario, which managed to bring out more heat out and successfully turn me off for the rest of the day. With difficulties to talk in the R & D, I somehow managed to present my presentation and came out from the meeting even before it was over.

After setting up Abi’s profile picture on facebook, with the doll (named after her Boo Boo) she gave me on her birthday, we started off to Chennai Central railway station. As I was too tired to move, me, Ishwarya and Abi decided to hire an auto rickshaw to goto station soon. Realising that it was a very wise decision on the way, I thought I could somehow manage to get the train without disturbing my friends too much. But fate has once again played in my life, all my fears came true in the railway station making Ishwarya and Abi run here and there to get me some food to eat so that I can take my tablets.

With my system failing to take food, even if it’s the idlis from the prestigious Hotel Saravana Bhavan, I made Ishwarya and Abi get really scared of me :-( And thats something I never wanted to happen after the Bangalore and Goa I.V. trip. I really dont know why God keeps on making me face the same health hazard and make my friends worry for me again and again and again. After getting into my senses after an hour or so, I took out my phone and my book to read but I couldn’t remember and at the same time forget what had happened an hour ago. That’s something that even my enemies shouldn’t suffer from. With a few pages read on the book, texting that I’m okay to Ishwarya and abi, I heard a wonderful news from Chetna that she has got her project in Chennai which focuses on Wal-Mart. Not sure if it’s just a coincidence, I had told the story of Wal-Mart only to my parents and Chetna when I had went to Ludhiana and seeing the Wal-Mart in India with my own eyes tying up with Bharti. With deep regret of the incidents that happened three hours back, I moved from my place to catch my train.

The late train moved in slowly onto the track, I ran towards my coach and got into bed as soon as possible after hearing all the rumblings of my fellow passengers. I woke up at 6 in the morning, looking along the green pastures of Tiruppur thinking what’s going to be my future with many questions arising whether I’ll be as successful as I dream I would be and whether my current set of friends would always be with me throughout my life. With no hopes and expectations, I went back to bed and woke up at 8am in my lovely city. Even after the train had stopped, I didnt want to get down. The fear that I’m going to be still dependent on my parents kept on bugging me. With 10 minutes of thinking, I finally got down from the moving train which was on its way to Kerala and walked towards the Ganesh temple in front of the railway station. My parents came after 20 mins to pick me up and I had lied in the back seat of my car thinking what to do.

After reaching the Parithi Network HQ, the lied in my bed all day and I mean all day..!! With nothing to, putting all my devices to go on full update mode, I relaxed for the entire day. It was the day of Abinaya’s convocation, I was expecting that she’ll take some photos with her dad. While thinking of her, I got an unexpected call from her exactly, she explained what happened in college that day. I asked how was her day and such, she was telling a lot about her convocation but unfortunately she couldn’t take any photos. I asked her what she was about to do the next day, and she replied she had no work and so we planned to goto the mountain temple near my home, the Maruthamalai.

Later on, I was watching some cartoons, made several changes to mom’s online jewel store and went to sleep after my dinner…
