There’s one Arrietty out there for me..

Continuing from my previous post, being very excited I woke up very early at 5 am and got ready for the day. I woke my parents at 6 and told them to get ready soon. I combined the trip with my bro as he had to get bus at Vadavalli at 6.30AM in the morning. My Jazz X’s booming speakers was soothing me with beautiful music from the official soundtrack from the movie “The Borrower’s Arrietty” crafted by Cécile Corbel. As we reached P.N. Pudhur, I got a call from Boo Boo, I put the speakerphone on, told her we’re on the way and will be reaching her in less than 10 minutes. I told her to stay at TVS Nagar and told that I’ll be coming there to pick her up. Turning on the Google Navigation system, I continued on with the highway so clean for me to drive at raging speeds as I always wanted, overtaking so many vehicles passing by.

After 10 minutes or so, I finally reached TVS nagar and I called Abi to ask where she was. She saw me and my car before I could see her as she moved towards us. She had come with her dad and we got down to talk to him a bit and then we moved on. It was THE moment, “THE” moment I had been waiting for a long long loooooooong time. Abi became the first of all my friends in my whole life to see our car and again the first friend to see me driving a car. With too much excitement, not knowing what to do, I drove so crazy as I could and didn’t even talk well when Arumugam made a call to hear my Katy Perry ringtone.

Although I drove a bit crazy, jumping over speed breakers and speeding over the ongoing lane even after a driver on the front took out his hands out of his window to scold me. Unusually, my parents had been scolding me a lot less, maybe not to scold me in front Boo Boo sitting on the co-driver seat. After rallying down to the foot of Maruthamalai, we bid farewell to my parents and we started climbing up the mountain. On the way, we left our shoes behind and got some things for the temple. I took a lot of photos of Boo Boo while climbing up and to my surprise, the front Mandapam of the temple (which was under construction as long as I could remember) was completely constructed and finished. I didn’t expect that I would be coming to that place for the first time with her :). While we were walking, I was sharing a lot of my stories of my life, my bro’s, friends of my past and more. Especially about the days while we were in quarters, the Sambarian times and the days of my tennis class. After finishing the archana, we sat down to take some rest and she showed me her medals which she got the day before :).

As and when I took photos, I sent them to Ishwarya but on that day, but unfortunately she was a bit busy that day, I couldn’t get any replies as I normally would get from her :(. The day moved on awesome, I told to Abi about me and my relation with Lord Muruga, the days of killing dogs and about our trekking adventures of me and my bro.

Around 10AM, we climbed down from the temple and went to our home in our car. For the very first time, a friend from my office came home and I was very excited. With jumping joy, I showed her around my house, my base camp, made her use my workstation, showed her my dolls and toys and took a lot of snaps. Later, my mom forced us to have breakfast, we had lots of fun eating and then it was finally time for her to leave as her dad was keep on calling her from morning.

While leaving, I showed our home garden, my umbrella tree, the Parithi HQ board and other crazy things around my house. Finally, we dropped her in the Vadavalli where her dad had come to pick her up. Instantly I started missing her so much, I felt so good when she was with me, the exact way how it would be when I used to roam around the quarters with Muhil akka. The rest of the day was kinda boring, I was sitting my way through the day and it was time I had to leave to chennai again. It was unexpectedly an awesome day, my mind was fully filled with Boo Boo.

At night, when I reached the Coimbatore station, I was wondering how awesome it would be if she could come with me to Chennai and to my surprise, when I checked the listing for the passengers, I found the girl next to me was ‘Abinaya’. In shock, I looked closely and found the name was actually Abinaya Priya :(. Boo Boo (Abi) had now become of my most important people in my life and I wish there’ll be more adventures and stories with her in the days to come..

Typing this with the Soundtrack of the movie ‘The Borrower’s Arrietty’ playing on my Xype in the background, there couldn’t be nothing to strongly say Boo Boo (Abi) is the perfect Arrietty out there in the real world for me. Someone so special, someone so difficult to find, someone who is just like me, someone just like my Muhil akka, someone impossibly replaceable, someone I don’t want to miss in my life forever. To add more, she even made me love the lonesome service — Google+, as I wish to share something with her every morning on it. Being an one of my OFAKs, god keeps trying to take her away from me but I do pray that she shouldn’t leave me like others did. Trying to spend time with her as much as possible with every tincy wincy second I get, gives me so much happiness that my childhood days gave. To show that she’s my Arrietty, I’ve even given her a pair of clips and a sugar cube, I wish I could keep her as my dolly forever, but hey God, you wouldn’t let me do that, would you? :-S
