Last Days at Consim..

We all knew these days were coming and yet it saddens me to talk about it. Ready or not, it was my time to leave the company, my friends and my corporate family for something that I had decided last February.

I rubbed off one of favorite quotes and I started the countdown for my departure 20 days from July 20th, which is going to be my last day at office, by writing down the number on my white board in my cabin. Although at start, no one seemed to give much importance to it, but as it got close, people started noticing.

I could still remember the days when all of us joined the office together and formed as a group even during the first week or so, and it is something that doesn’t happen with the freshers joined us this year. The remains of us in our gang are wondering a lot why the new freshers don’t group up like us and it called for our investigation. I wanted to get in to find out what’s going on and although I was not officially allowed to interact with them, I started going to their bays and learnt what they were doing in their training sessions. I tried talking to a few of them, clarifying their doubts in their training and had a few chitchats too. At first, Tamilselvi, the girl with my mom’s name started talking well, then Karthikeyan, Saranya and Sarjana joined in. It was nice to see them experiment with the web which I love the most, it took me back to the days when me and my gang were under training last year. Vijayakanth told me to take care of Ramesh for a week and so I started giving exercises to him and soon gave exercises to everyone. But as my days kept decreasing I couldn’t talk much with them, I had to get held up in my bay for work which was kind of engaging as it was related to our company’s data center migration. Talking about data migration, I also want to let you know that my servers now under a VPS and not another hosting server anymore.

I also got a ‘Parithi’ logo branded sticker for my Xype ordered from wrappz which looks so beautiful for me and yet as always makes me a bit unlucky as usual. Freddy had got a smartphone and so now it’s fun to have a new chatting group named ‘Les Vostokians’ on hike and whatsapp with me, Prince and Freddy.

I had already planned a lot for my last days at my office and everything went according to my plan. And as expected, there came several severe clashes between me and Ishwarya which I couldn’t bare, those days were just horrible.

Apart from all those, we had a good time at the Consimites day, this time called as MaX awards but it wasn’t the same as we had last year.

In addition to me, Vishnu and Karthik Balaje are also leaving our gang to start their new lives. We are about to celebrate our gang’s last get together at Mudhaliarkuppam this Sunday where we are going to meet Sri after a very long time and Chet after a brief gap. With this post, the Consim Life category is finally coming to an end, not sure what lies beyond the horizon..
