Viva La Vida..

I wasn’t able to post last friday as I was a bit busy at Coimbatore, for Sadam’s marriage. Nothing has changed in ICAT, its the same old basic programming classes and engineering graphics lessons that ends today. From monday, I’ll be learning Digital Design that involves Adobe PhotoShop, AutoDesk Maya and more. I hope it’ll be interesting. Anyways, as promised, here’s what happened from the last half of August and this September :

Ishu’s Birthday :

You all know Ishwarya, my trusty LLF, whom I believe who will always stay with me, support me, console me, advise me, that special friend whom I don’t publicly talk much about a lot just because of the fear that god might separate her from me too. Although our friendship is not clearly known to many, because of our varied wave lengths, she is a special person very close to my heart who will always be there for me, regardless how I behave/care for her. For an example, even if I don’t talk/chat with her for 6 months, she’ll be the same Ishu as I see today, and that’s what makes her so special. She is a girl with a set of ideals, which she always follows, which is kinda cool. Her main motive in life to have loads and loads of fun and keep others around her happy. Although, she doesn’t have big dreams, like we all do, she’ll be the one supporting and praying for us to succeed in our own. She is a friend to whom I can share anything that happens in my life, my future ambitions. Most importantly, she’ll be the one to hear all my ramblings and give comments about it, if I go wrong somewhere. If I miss someone, she’ll be the consoler for that too. It’s exactly like, she’s like the sweet medicine to my illness. Without medicine, I am going to slowly die or cure my illness with a lot of pain myself. For the reason she’s so special, I don’t want to tell much about her here. So for now, all you have to know is, she’s a very very important friend in my life, just like Chetna, Abi, Prince and Freddy. In other words, She’s that Parithi to some of you who wish to keep me as a secret friend without unveiling me and about me to your other friends.

We had her birthday last month and we wanted it to be really special. I had gifted her with an AUDI car which she loves a lot. Chetna and Me planned to give her a surprise for her at Cafe Coffee Day by cutting a birthday cake at Adyar. I asked Dharani whether he could join and he said okay, and then Abi too joined our birthday plan for Ishwarya. I went to Adyar early at 7PM along with Ishwarya and Abi from office, and Chetna was already waiting there near the CCD for me. Ishwarya was shopping with no idea about the big event we were planning in the background. Just when Ishwarya and Abi started to their hostels, the rain started pouring to full force and I had to fetch a cake from a nearest bakery. I searched a few cake shops but they were out of stock and then I got a beautiful butterscotch cake from CakeWorld. Soon, Dharani also joined me as he came in the bus and we meet Chetna near the Cafe Coffee Day and ran towards the Mavericks Gym situated there. We entered Subway, as we were all hungry and so we packed in some sandwiches to fill our tummies. I saw Chetna’s laptop for the first time and while we were meddling with it, I got hold of some one in the front seat I had met before. It was Muhil Venkat, the neighbour of my close friend Hari Prasanth when we were at TNAU Quarters. I was surprised to see him, I went and gave him a small talk about how things are going. The plan was already an utter flop because of the rain, and so Chetna decided we could Ishwarya to the restaurant too. Gowtham had joined in and Abi had just come in time from her hostel for the treat, and wallah, it was a big surprise for Ishwarya to see Abi and Dhar sitting with us for her birthday. We were talking and playing a lot in front of Mavericks by scaring Ishwarya about the Conjuring movie. Clearly, Chetna’s decision to bring Ishwarya in, was a good idea to have fun. We were waiting and waiting for the rain to stop but it kept drenching us. Me and Dharani booked a cab to pick us up and the cab came in around 11.45. Using the headlamps of the cab, we just the cake and cherished her birthday with a lot of fun, we all loved it to the core by singing birthday songs, making fun of Ishwarya while I was recording them all in my Xype. It was an awesome birthday blast, which is very memorable to all of us, and ironically, the rain stopped just after we got the cab back to hostel. The rain was pouring for some reason after all. Later that midnight, Chetna, Ishwarya and Abi went back to Ishwarya’s hostel and had a lot of fun. But what Chetna and the Lift Planners [Ishwarya and Abi] did that night is still unknown..

ChuKy’s Birthday :

It was my very Best Friend Forever, Chetna’s birthday just after 6 days after Ishwarya’s. Me and Ishwarya started planning for her birthday even a week before her birthday. At the midnight of her birthday, me, Abi and Ishwarya connected together over a conference call to wish Chetna. The call was connected to some of her Trichy friends, which eventually made me join the biggest conference calls in my life. Nearly 8–15 friends were waiting on the call to wish her during the midnight, while Chetna was already on call waiting with her other friends. Somehow I managed to wish her, and we had planned to meet her at the Besant Nagar Beach, the next day morning, that is on her birthday. Abi bought the cake and Ishwarya and myself reached the beach to meet her. We met Gowtham, Dhilip and Chetna had a fun time in the beach. I took several photos, wrote on the beach sand for her birthday. It was funny to hear Chetna singing ‘Happy Birthday to me’ song, which still lol-s me out when I review that video. Then everyone went back to their offices, Chetna started off to continue her birthday plans, and I went to the ‘Jobs’ movie with Arumugam at Sathyam Cinemas which was a much-awaited movie. After the movie, I started off to my school and by the evening, Chetna came back to Santhome, to get the birthday gift from me. I was extremely happy to meet her again, as I had sad feeling from that morning that I couldn’t be with her the full day like last year. I still look up to the previous year’s birthday photos of her, it was so funny and crazy that day. Anyway, I met Chetna and Dhilip near my hostel, and I gifted her the purple sundial I got for her. After 10 minutes or so, they got the next bus and moved to Tambaram to continue her birthday plans.

Vinayagar Chathurthi and the Crazy Train ride with Boo Boo :

I love Vinayagar Chathurthi every year, since I used to be at home as my mom makes delicious kolukatais for the auspicious day. But just like last year, I was forced to be here at Chennai and so with a sad face, I posted my status update in the morning about how I felt. I knew my mom would read it and make me kolukatais the next time I go to my home and it did happen :) That’s different story. But the surprising yet expected thing is that I did get kolukatais from my friends that day. Abi was not liking her hostel and so she had to move to a new one. I went to Chromepet to help her out for the shifting and immediately came back to my hostel since it was horribly raining, I got drenched in the rain fully. I wasn’t able to spend even 5 minutes with her because of the weather but yet, we managed to get things setup fast within 15 minutes or so, for accommodating her in her new hostel. She gave me a kolukatai got from her old hostel and by the night Ishwarya gave me a box full of kolukatais to munch with :)

As I felt that day was incomplete, I dressed up the same costume, a week later and went back to Chromepet. It would have been better if Chetna and Ishwarya were there, but they went to their native place. It was a very sunny day, Me and Abi met at Chromepet but we had no plans, we were just roaming around. We got a new pendrive for Abi for her college and then we had no idea what to do. So we decided to the craziest thing ever could ever come up with. We took a ticket for the suburban train and we decided to goto the last stop where the train teaches and come back in the same train itself. Although it felt like a crazy plan, we loved the trip. The train went through a beautiful lake named Kolavai, the atmosphere was blue, windy and it felt awesome. We missed others and felt it would be better if they could have joined in. We spent around half an hour there, taking snaps, bought an water bottle and returned back to chromepet in the same train we arrived in. With just 15rs, we had an awesome and a very very memorable time, burning around 5 hours to dust. After reaching chromepet, I started back to hostel.

Two months gone,

It’s been two months since I left my job and I’m still not in a clear notion of what I’m doing and what I am going to do. But I’m sure I haven’t wasted the last two months, I kind of utilized okay but not to the levels of my expectations. To learn more why, read on…

What I did I do in my spare time?

Well, at first, I was having a very very very very bad time. As I am always alone in the hostel from morning to night, I felt becoming very lonely with no one to talk with/chat with as everyone is locked up in their daily routines. Being alone was actually a problem for me, as I’ve said many times in my blog because I’ve been alone in my home a lot of times from childhood. It took me weeks to realize that my hostel was the problem for my depression and not any other factor. At ICAT, I roam alone and be myself all the time but my future vision is always alive. Whereas, in hostel surrounded by 4 beds all the time, a locked room with no air ventilation which creates a lack of oxygen, a no good place to keep my MacBook Pro to sit with, and worse, the lights won’t turn on so easy at the evening because of the low voltage. All these factors, made me a lazy goon as I kept sleeping and wasting my time doing nothing. I had no idea what to do, and so I kept thinking. I got a notepad for me and for Abi to test out whether a to-do list solves the problem. No, it didn’t. Then I started keeping reminders in my phone to do the tasks, but I kept dismissing them unfinished. And there came iCal, my calendar application on my MacBook to save my day. I started planning out my days ahead of a month and set timelines for the things I have to finish by a particular date. Clearly assigning days for me, my friends, and the people, my calendar soon got a good shape with a lot of planned events. I started using IFTTT abundantly to track my whereabouts on my calendar too. That is how I started working on my blogs, learning Android and building the upcoming Parithi.Me mobile application for Android.

And this is going to be the last post I type from my stupid hostel. Tomorrow, I’m are going to watch the movie ‘Raja Rani’ at Sangam Cinemas with Chetna (after a month :) :) :) :) ), Ishwarya, Abi, Dharani, Santhosh, Karthik Balaje (seeing him after I quit my job at Consim). It’s going to be a fun day ahead, I hope we’ll have a lot of fun.

October is near, it’s that special month which I love a lot but always hits me back with a lot of bad luck…

I should stop expecting a lot of things from people, not sure how I’m gonna pass this October having a lot of friends. To those of you who don’t know, every October or December in an year, I switch cycles. From the last October, I was paying a lot of attention to my friends and people whom I love a lot, and from now till the next October, I will be paying more attention to those who love me, whether I like it or not. Definitely it’s going to be a tough, but I have to handle it till the next August end because the people who love me, deserve my love back. I should also keep my mouth shut just like the last year, to stay away from trouble since most of the things that are going to happen are not going to favorable on my side..We’ll see how it goes :)
