Chilling Out This Summer..!! Literally..!!

To My Blog: Long Time, No See! As for you guys, its March 29, and we’re getting ready to experience the summer with holidays, fun, cool shades, fruit juices, ice creams and oh yes, don’t forget the exams. The weather is starting to get really hot, with evil mirages on the highways and blindfolding eye-sight, me and family had decided that its totally impossible to withstand the temperature these days in Coimbatore. It shoots upto 33°C maximum and goes below to 24°C minimum, thanks to Global Warming I guess :P. Anyways, to beat the heat, we had to think of someway to cool us down. We tried lots of fruits like watermelons, apples in our home for the past two weeks, I tried to drink ‘Sprite’ almost 3 days a week since I was obstructed by my friend Kirthika’s condition of not drinking more than 500 ml of soft drinks per week, but still no use of it. My mom couldn’t take the horrendous heat in our home during the afternoon where there is an unpleasant usual power-cut given by the paradoxic Governement of Tamilnadu. So saying, my mom told the situation to my dad, and we had no other choice to get an Air-Conditioner for our home.

With no further delay, we had ordered a new A/C from our family’s most trusted company, Samsung. Its a 1.5 ton Split model named Samsung Purista [AS183BGC ] (for those curious geniuses who are wondering about the name, Purista is a treatment which works to inhibit bacterial growth, based on polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride). Since, you’ve read the line inside the braces, I’m assuming that you are a genius and here are some more technical info about the A/C. It has a Bio-Sleeplus technology inside that automatically adjusts the temperature for giving us a pleasant and peaceful sleep during the night times so that we don’t feel very cold during the midnight. It also features a d’Light Cool Technology, which scans for the humidity and automatically adjusts the temperature for giving us an optimum temperature throughout the room. And it has the S-UTR Plus™ Compressor, Turbo Cooling, Smart saver, Inbuilt Stabilizer, Full HD Filter and bla bla blas. What I really like in this monster machine, is its cute and lovely white remote (the most beautiful remote controller in our home) which has a sweet lcd display and radium soft buttons that glows in the dark. Kewl huh? No? We’ll its kewl for me though. Unfortunately, but not disappointing, the A/C was installed to our main living room instead of my room, and it works simply superb. And oh, for those having an agaze look at the picture above, no donut for you. Its just a picture I got from flickr since I’m lazy to take a snap of our own new A/C :P.
