Mission : Level X ..

It’s 19th July 2011 and I’m in the middle of the 3rd week of my 4th year in college. My classes are going pretty boring than usual because there are no interesting staff like Sampath sir, this year. And my restless minutes in waiting for the bus every evening is getting more horrible day by day. Leaving those aside, I had planned during my holidays to change myself this year and show a complete and visible metamorphosis of me to my friends. Everyone identifies me as a silent, over-shy yet intelligent boy and many people, especially the girls, used to tell me to change as soon as possible and also warn me that this is not good for my future career. Although I had understood their point, I didn’t show any change in myself to them for a very long time. To tell the truth, I have a tried a lot to change but as time passes by, the words of my friends fades away as they fade away from me, and obviously I restore myself to my earlier point.

But this year, I didn’t want to do the same mistake again. So, I started to show some aggressive change even though I did not like most of it. Eventually many of my mates recognized the change and complimented me, which boosted up my confidence. Now, I’ve got enough confidence to talk casually even with staff. But still I feel that I need to change a lot more and reduce my shyness to a perfect Zero, in order to match myself with my friends. Till today, I did not have any fair advantage in changing myself and I haven’t got any new experiences either. Last week, I even felt that my opinions are being ignored by my own trusted friends just because I’m shy and not talkative like many others. That’s when I posted this message as my Facebook status. Starting from that day, I’ve really worked hard in showing some eXtra-ordinary behavior which I’ve never had in my life and I wanted to keep my pace running this way so I designed the mission named ‘Level X’ and added it to my imaginary HUD. Level X (pronounced as Level ‘EX’) is a word stylized for Level 10.

Level X is a self-motivating mission designed for aggressive development of myself and it consists of 10 levels. Inspired by some of the famous Youtubers, learning some personality development stuff from my friend Prince and rigorously replicating my attitude from my friend Nalini, I’ve designed Level X in a way that makes me eXtra-Ordinary, eXcellant and eXecutive. The levels of this mission are :

1. Talk by seeing the eyes of a person.
2. No fear to talk with anyone, even girls.
3. Do not fear even when I do something wrong.
4. Maintain Self-Prestige to a limit by not acting like a slave to everyone.
5. Learn to say ‘No’ to the people who try to exploit me for their use.
6. Talk about something to anyone around me even-though its useless, thereby making new friends.
7. Try to solve the fight against someone, when they are against my friend.
8. Learn to ask help from Girls when in need.
9. Learn to say ‘Hi’ to a friend who passes by me while walking, even though she is a girl.
10. Bring shyness to zero. Think myself as a Rockstar.

Today I’ve got promoted to Level 2, by losing all my fear and talking to my Bus Driver to change the place where I get down. Postively, I got an advantage and now I can get down in a stop from where I get back to my home in just 5 minutes, which used to be 20 minutes of walking time previously. I really love the new change and I hope I’ll reach Level X real soon and become an awesome guy..Let’s see what time has to tell….
