A Robotic Week
A quick word of caution for those who came here with a Google Search searching for science, this post has nothing to do with Robotics. So for those of you who came here in search of a robotics event, I have to say that you’ve got the wrong cab. Head back and hitch another ride with another search. And for all those who wish to know about me what I did in the past week, read on. It’s September 24th and NASA says that its abandoned satellite named UARS (Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite) which was launched on 1991 is now on its way back towards our Earth’s Crust by shattering into several pieces. The satellite was launched in order to study about the atmosphere and it was meant to be operational for just 3 years but its instruments were still operated till June 2005.
Boring huh? Well, that’s what this post is all about!
As the title says, the week went very robotic than usual. Although this is a quite chronic feeling for me, this week was dreadful from the very beginning. The day starts at 6am in the morning,
- I get ready and move to college,
- Then sleep in the bus since I have nothing to entertain myself,
- Get to the class and pretend to listen to the deadly boring classes,
- Have an unpalatable Lunch,
- Continue the remaining classes with Hypnagogia,
- Spend a lonely evening while waiting for the bus in front of the college,
- Sleep in the bus (Again),
- Return home and chat with some one with almost no interest,
- Go back to sleep at about 11PM.
These were the things which I was doing for the past 5 days with barely no changes at all. I used to play a lot of games during my first year but now I’ve totally lost the touch of it even after installing the overwhelming DiRT 3 and Blur on my PC. I used to play till 2AM every night but now after showing a terrible performance in my 2nd Internal Exams, I’ve started to sleep soon at 11PM and wake up late at 6AM. I don’t know how this happened, but I could really feel good and healthy after these changes even though the life is moving with a hell lot of boredom. And there are two more things that I have to mention at this point, One is Facebook’s CEO Mark has announced the upcoming TimeLine Feature for Facebook in the F8 conference held yesterday and I can’t wait to try it out! The feature is actually a wish-come-true for me since I’ve been waiting for something like this for a very long time. I love the way how the new TimeLine profile shows all the important events of our life right from birth and also the lovely banner on top of it. If you are not aware of what I’m talking about, then you must head here and check it out for yourself. And Two, Right from the beginning of Parithi X, I could see few people trying to change me but I can’t see anyone who change themselves for a better future. Bottom Line,
People Want Me To Change, Which They Never Do Themselves.
Also, since my college life is slowly coming to an end, I’ve started to wonder about my friends who will be in touch with me after the last day of our college. What do you guys think? Will we be in touch through some social means in the near future? I guess only time can tell…
 **Sidenote **: I’ve added the frequent stars of my blog in the sidebar, check it out..
